Slow Vinyasa

A variation of vinyasa that allows more time and space for practitioners to observe themselves in the asanas/yogic postures. While western vinyasa places emphasis on flowing from one position to the next, stoking the fire within, slow vinyasa seeks a slow, steady practice, taking time to breathe and notice the sensations coming out of the body in each posture. We use blocks, ropes and bolsters to help us clear the path of any physical, and mental, obstructions and aide us in breathing more fully in our practice. 

This practice is open to all levels.
